‘It is with great pleasure, to provide you with a super quality, balanced menu that celebrates the locale and the seasons. Where you see ‘Holburn’ being mentioned, that’s Mrs B’s garden. You’ll also notice that Mrs B creates ‘stand out’ essentials like Chinese plum sauce and black currant vinegar that provide elevation, originality and timeless quality to what we do. Ps, She also does the puddings. Enjoy!’
Smooth Savoy and potato soup with pear puree and candied walnuts. Served with a mini cheese scone
Toasted muffin, herby ricotta mousse, cray fish, lemon and parsley
Smoked haddock fritter with spiced gooseberry relish
Hot smoked salmon brandade with toasted Lebanese bread.
Baked Holburn apple, curried yoghurt and toasted pine nuts.
Butter fried coley, Holburn apple and fennel salad with a warm garlic and kale dressing.
Confit duck, Holburn pickled plums, buttered Savoy, and Mrs B’s Chinese plum sauce.
Roasted aubergines stuffed with sweet smoked tomato ragu, lightly scented with Mrs B’s homemade black currant vinegar
Buttered pork loin with Holburn organic apples, barley, cider and tarragon
Wild mushrooms with white wine, cream, lemon balm and roast swede.
